Aberavon MP Congratulates Celtic Community Leisure on Recent Success

Dr Hywel Francis, MP for Aberavon, recently visited Cymmer Swimming Pool to learn about Celtic Community Leisure's recent success from their Head of Operations, Mr Paul Walker.

Celtic Community Leisure manage leisure centres and swimming pools on behalf of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. They recently successfully underwent a reassessment for Investors In People accreditation against new standards introduced last year, demonstrating that they are an employer that is committed to developing their organisation through the development of their people.

Celtic Leisure has also committed itself to continuous improvement using Quest, the nationally recognised industry quality standard for leisure facilities. Of eleven sites to have achieved Quest accreditation, 6 are managed by Celtic Community Leisure on behalf of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.

Dr Francis said,

"Celtic Community have worked hard to develop their organisation through investing in their people and to provide a top-quality service to their customers. They fully deserve their accreditations from Investors in People and Quest, and I congratulate them on their success."
