MP welcomes CAB merger

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis has welcomed the merger of local Citizen Advice Bureaux.
Dr Francis said,
‘The coming together of the CABs of Neath Port Talbot and Swansea is to be welcomed as it will ensure a sharing of scarce resources and valuable expertise.
Local families are under greater pressure with the present recession, benefit cuts and rising unemployment. We need our CAB offices and I am pleased that existing offices in Port Talbot, Neath and Swansea will all be maintained and that there is a commitment to make every effort to improve outreach work in more remote areas.’
