MP and AM Visit Baglan Remploy Plant to Show Support

Aberavon’s MP, Dr Hywel Francis, and AM, David Rees, visited the Remploy plant at Baglan in their Constituency today. In a joint statement Dr Francis and Mr Rees said,
“We met with union representatives and spoke to staff to indicate our support to sustain jobs locally. We promised to discuss the future of the business with Welsh and UK Government Ministers at the earliest opportunity.”
Dr Francis and Mr Rees added,
“We have been encouraged by the strong public backing locally and we will work hard to support all employees, whether disabled or able-bodied, to secure their employment.”
