Dr Francis: To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what recent discussions she had with carers and disability organisations in Wales on the effect of the Comprehensive Spending Review on the payment of benefits to their members; and if she will make a statement. [20062]
Mrs Gillan: I have met with a range of organisations, including the Older People's Commissioner for Wales, prior to the announcement of the comprehensive spending review and discussed the issues raised with colleagues.
I now intend to continue a programme of meetings with organisations and individuals from across Wales to discuss key issues, including the comprehensive spending review outcome.
