Local MP Meets Young Life Savers

Aberavon MP, Dr Hywel Francis, recently visited Traethmelyn Primary School to meet the 28 pupils from year 6 who have passed the Heartstart Wales emergency CPR certificate. The scheme was organised by Traethmelyn teacher Mrs Rhian Hughes with paramedic Andy Cleverdon.

Dr Francis said,

"The Heartstart scheme teaches crucially important life skills that will enable these children to make a vital difference to someone else's life in an emergency. I congratulate all the children who gained the certificate on their excellent achievement."
