Afan Valley World Heritage Site

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis is considering nominating the Afan Valley, from Cwmafan to the Cape as a World Heritage Site.

Dr Francis said,
"I am inviting my constituents to identify local historical sites whether they be the birthplaces of William Abraham (Mabon), Dic Penderyn, Richard Burton or Rebecca Evans or important industrial and transport developments to justify what I consider to be a worthwhile application.
I ask local individuals, groups and organisations to write to me with their suggestions."
