Croeserw welcomes Amazon

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis recently met with residents of Croeserw in the Afan Valley to explain the opportunities provided by the Amazon Development in Jersey Marine.

Dr Francis said,
"I was delighted that at the recent meeting so many residents were keen to take up the great job opportunities being provided by Amazon. Issues about travel arrangements, skills development and fair play for valleys based workers were raised with me."
"I was able to assure that such issues are being addressed and I undertook to arrange a meeting between Steve Lewis, Field Account Manager, Job Centre Plus. Scott Jones, Secretary of Croeserw Workingmen's Club and local residents to discuss a way forward."
