Dr Francis has always been associated with the Group since becoming MP. He champions Carers through his Carers Equal Opportunities Act in 2004.

Dr Francis said,

“The Port Talbot Epilepsy Group is an outstanding local Carers Organisation. I am delighted they have won this award which they will use to help many of their members have a well-deserved summer break. I will be helping them to raise additional funds to ensure that as many as possible will benefit.”

“The Group are celebrating their 10th Anniversary later this year. Theirs is a success story, having only been comprised of six members for a few years and grown to a group that has over forty members today.”

Notes:
