MP visits Centenarian

Aberavon MP, Dr Hywel Francis recently paid a visit to Mrs Minnie Aitken of George Street, Port Talbot, who celebrated her 100th birthday.
Dr Francis said,
"I was delighted and honoured to meet with Mrs Aitken at her home on her birthday. Mrs Aitken has led a full and active life and continues to be an elder at Grove Place Methodist Chapel. Her late husband was Treasurer of the local steelworks and her father was a well known and well respected Headteacher in Pontrhydyfen and Eastern Primary School. I know that Mrs Aitken’s many friends and family enjoyed a wonderful birthday party at Blanco’s later in the day"
