MP backs Remploy Petition at No. 10

7th November 2011

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis today was present at the handing over of a petition at Number 10 Downing Street in support of Remploy factories throughout the country.

Dr Francis said,

‘I was proud to be present with Remploy workers from three unions, GMB, Unite and Community in the handing over of a petition of nearly 10,000 signatures backing the saving of Remploy factories throughout the country. I know many people in the Aberavon constituency signed the petition because of the excellent factory at Baglan and also many others across south Wales which provide work opportunities for disabled people.
