MP backs public sector workers' strike

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis is supporting striking public sector workers on 30th November in defence of their pensions.
Dr Francis said:
‘All the public sector workers who are taking industrial action on November 30th are fully justified and they have my support: I made a public declaration of support for the last strike earlier this year and I do so again now.
The Government must leave no stone unturned to seek a genuinely sustainable agreement that is fair to public sector workers. Even at this late stage, I am urging both Government and unions to exhaust every avenue to avoid further industrial action.
Rather than telling hundreds of thousands of workers many of whom are low paid and part-time who are set to be much worse off, that they should not strike, David Cameron should be taking responsibility and try to negotiate a deal that's fair to all public sector workers.’
