MP holds meeting on Hospital future

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis is holding a meeting this week with local NHS officials on the future of Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
Dr Francis said
‘Whilst the Health Service is the responsibility of the Welsh Assembly and not Parliament, I work closely with my colleague Aberavon AM David Rees to ensure that we protect and enhance safe NHS services locally.
I shall be meeting with NHS officials from the ABMU this week to receive an update on the future of services delivered at our hospital. David Rees will also be present. We wish of course to continue outlining the concerns expressed to us by our constituents.
Dr Francis added
‘Once the meeting has taken place I will convey the outcome of our discussions to my constituents.’
