Aberavon MP meets Remploy Minister

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis has today met with Minister for the Disabled and Remploy, Esther McVey MP.
Dr Francis said
‘I had a positive meeting with the Minister, I expressed my support and that of my Assembly Member David Rees for the Baglan Remploy plant in our constituency. I outlined the strong community support for keeping the plant open and appreciation of the backing of the Welsh Government in assisting all Remploy workers across Wales, whether disabled or able-bodied.’
Dr Francis added,
‘David Rees and I have also spoken with the Welsh Government Minister Leighton Andrews. We continue to liaise with the workforce to secure their employment locally.’
